You will have a free consult visit prior to the treatment where the physician and nurse will go over all necessary skin preparations. You will also be given prescriptions to bring with you the day of the procedure. On the day of your treatment you will arrive 1 ½ hours prior to the procedure. You will have photographs taken for your chart and topical anesthetic applied. You will also be given oral medication to decrease any discomfort. You will experience a mild prickling or stinging sensation. The INFINI was designed to maximize comfort for the patient, which can be attributed to its patented comfort flow needling technology. Compared with other Micro-needle Radio Frequency devices, many find the INFINI more comfortable.
There is initial redness and swelling which subsides after 24-36 hours. It can take up to a week for this to completely resolve. Most people resume normal activities within 48 hours.
Unlike many other procedures, this has long lasting results since it is your own body that does the work. The effects could last for years. A healthy skin care regimen is recommended to optimize and maintain lasting results.
You can expect to see some changes soon after the procedure. However, your body will continue to rebuild collagen for several weeks after, so you will see improvement over the next six months.
Typically three or four treatments are recommended. INFINI treatments are typically spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. Your physician will discuss your treatment goals and personal situation to determine the number of treatments you will need. Many people see results after just one treatment, but having a course of treatments will yield the best possible outcome.
