Radiesse®

What is Radiesse?

This filler is made up of unique calcium-based microspheres suspended in a natural gel. These microspheres form a “scaffold” to support and stimulate the growth of your own collagen. Radiesse is able to not only fill but restore lost volume.

Where can Radiesse be injected?

  • Nasolabial Folds
  • Smile Lines
  • Wrinkles around the nose and mouth

What is the treatment like?

This is an in-office procedure with no down time. You will have a topical numbing on for 30 minutes prior to the procedure. The procedure itself will take approximately 30minutes. The use of a local anesthetic is also used to decrease any discomfort.

What can I expect after the treatment?

Instant volume and beautiful results! You may have some mild redness and swelling but that typically resolves quickly and can be easily covered up with makeup. Radiesse may last a year or more in many patients. The calcium-based microspheres gradually break down and are safely and naturally absorbed by your body.

Are there side effects?

The most normal side effects are an injection-related reaction, such as mild irritation, swelling, itching, bruising, or tenderness. All are mild in nature, and their duration is short lasting (7 days or less).
